About institution

The School Centre of Traffic "Pinki" Novi Sad was founded in the decision by the Self-Governing Community for Vocational Education of Novi Sad on 1 July 1983. Under the full name of the School Centre of Traffic "Pinki" Novi Sad, the school began to work in the school year 1983/1984, located at the building of the former primary school "Jozsef Attila" at 1 Laze Lazarevića Street. The School Centre "Pinki" comprised the School for Joint General Education "Jozsef Attila" (third and fourth year of secondary school). As the School Centre "Pinki" resulted from the merging of the traffic department of the School Centre of Mechanical Engineering "Tito" and the former "Joszsef Attila" school, the employees were mainly taken from these two institutions. Branislav Ćeranić was the first principal. Establishment of the Secondary School of Traffic "Pinki", delivering education for qualifications in all branches of traffic, was mainly conditioned by the demands of traffic as an economic activity of special importance. The present-day Secondary School of Traffic "Pinki" Novi Sad is located at 12a Šumadijska St.
